For thousands for years, great commanders, leaders, and scientists were attracted to chess. Indeed, the game teaches one to choose the right tactics. It develops a person’s ability to conceive of a preplanned course of action, and to change this strategy depending on the changing situation on the board and the actions of his/her opponent. In other words, chess is the science of winning (not only behind the chess board). One must study this game from childhood, in order to instill the qualities of patience, willpower, logical reasoning, and imagination.
